The 44th annual ENMU student research conference will be held on April 4, 2018. This year we have a new name: the Student Research and Creativity Conference.

Our Student Research and Creativity Conference is designed to showcase the research and creative projects being done by undergraduate and graduate students across campus. Students present their work in professional poster, paper, presentation and performance sessions and are judged and critiqued by faculty members. Through this process, students can see how their work compares with that of other students, get feedback on their work and presentation, and practice their professional presentation skills. Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend the sessions.

This year, for the first time, students are able to present creative projects such as short films, monologues, musical numbers, or visual arts pieces rather than posters or papers about them. More details about requirements for research and creative presentations will be available in the future.

Cash Awards

Presentations are judged by an interdisciplinary group of faculty members and cash awards are given to the winner in each category. Categories with fewer than six participants are consolidated for judging.

Banquet

Awards are presented at the banquet the evening of the conference. All participants and faculty members are invited to attend the banquet at no cost, but RSVPs are required. Student participants may bring up to two guests.
